Located in the beautiful Queen Anne area of Seattle, Seattle Pacific University is just minutes from downtown Seattle. Crawford Music Building, where all Kodály classes are held, sits on the main quad of campus. Also near the campus are the funky Fremont District, full of lively shops and restaurants, and the Burke-Gilman Trail, a biking and running trail that runs along Lake Union, Lake Washington, and other parts of the city. Summers in Seattle are typically sunny and dry, with an average temperature in the upper 70s or low 80s and occasional heat waves that boost the temps into the 90s.
